Event Details
The Frenzy Hills 100 mile course takes some classic local trails and connects them into a 25 mile loop through McDowell Mountain Regional Park. 100 mile riders will get to know the loop well with 4 complete circuits of the route.

The loop is comprised of several trails which feature a mix of wider rolling desert terrain, a sandy wash and some rock gardens. Racers will experience two decent cimbs followed by a significant downhill after each.

Event Details
The Frenzy Hills 9 hour relay course follows the 15 mile loop through McDowell Mountain Regional Park. Teams of 2 or 4 will complete as many laps as they can before the time limit expires.

The loop is comprised of several trails which feature a mix of wider rolling desert terrain, a sandy wash and some rock gardens. Racers will experience a punchy climb up Bluff Trail followed by a fun decent down Tonto Tank before finishing the loop on the park service road.

Additional Race Info

The race courses will be well marked with orange plastic ribbons with black polka dots and reflective medallions. Trail junctions and turns will be well marked with reflective laminated signs. In addition, blue & white checkerboard plastic flagging and RED reflective WRONG WAY signs will be hung to designate non-race or “WRONG WAY” trails. All riders are responsible for understanding the layout of the course. Please familiarize yourself with the course maps on our website prior to race day and/or print a map to bring along with you.

We will have our MedStar Solutions medical staff based at the start / finish headquarters to assist with first aid onsite. We reserve the right to pull you from the race if medical officials deem it necessary.
NOTE: Please do NOT call 911 in a medical emergency. Our medical team is highly trained and understands the terrain and driving access points. Please call the race day number and they will dispatch immediately.

Parking
Remember the park now charges a $10 park entry fee per vehicle.
Please arrive early and have correct change (cash) available on race evening for a smooth entry process. Maricopa County Parks also offers an Annual Pass for $120. Carpool to save!

Pets
For the safety of all riders, no pets are allowed on-course at the night runs. Any pets at the race must be on a leash at all times, respect park rules, and be supervised.

Camping
McDowell Mountain Regional Park offers 96 individual sites for tent or RV camping. Sites in the campground may be reserved online at Maricopa County Parks. Participants can also camp in the group campground for $22/night. Payment is taken at the park entrance. The group campground is 2.5 miles away from the event. All sites in the campground may be reserved online at go here.

Mountain Biking and Trash
Please respect the trails and the beauty of the desert by disposing of any trash at one of our aid stations. We do recycle and participate in the Terracycle program where we recycle used nutrition packets and gel wrappers. Please deposit them in the specified container at the feed station.
